Our Volunteers

The Leura Gardens Festival is an event involving people from the Upper Blue Mountains and beyond. During the 4 days of the Festival, around 200 volunteers will sit at garden gates scanning entry tickets. Others will be assisting at the Headquarters and at the Ticket Sales/Information stand near Leura Station.

Every Festival garden has a gate crew minding the gate, scanning tickets, issuing brochures, giving information, and generally making visitors welcome.

Festival Committee

Each year the Festival is managed by a dedicated committee of volunteers.
The committee comprises David White as President, Sue Harris as Vice President, Martin Scully as Treasurer and Sarah Sloss as Secretary. Other elected committee members are Christine Cuneo, Piercarlo Cuneo, Susan Lenehan and Brigitte Moseley.

In addition, the Committee is supported by:

Malcolm Nicholson who runs the Mall Ticket Office.

Toby Griffin who provides IT support and manages the online ticketing system.

Ben Herman who coordinates the volunteers.

Brooke Broughton who assists with the rollout of the ticketing system.
